Wood Hall near Wetherby in North Yorkshire is another of my favourite venues. It’s nice & close to where I live, for one, but there’s more to it than that. I especially like the outdoor wedding setup here. There’s something about the aisle with the flower arches, the beautiful country house in the background and then the sweeping views down the hill to Wetherby that make it really special.
Helen & David had their wedding ceremony outside at Wood Hall. There were a few moments during the morning, as we looked out of the window, that looked like it might be a bit touch and go with the weather, but everything worked out in the end.
Helen and her bridesmaids all got ready in one of the rooms here over the morning. It was a great space to get ready in. Plenty of room and light and it was a lovely morning. Lots of love and excitement in the air. Also, I can’t resist a photo if someone’s going to walk around with their curlers in!
I’ve already mentioned how much I love photographing outdoor wedding ceremonies here, they always look fantastic. The same outdoor space is also perfect for the afternoon for the guests to play lawn games, chat and catch up with each other. Although the sun only broke through the cloud a few times in the afternoon, it was still a lovely warm August day, so everyone made the most of the fresh air.
Later on, everyone headed inside for the partying & dancing & I was there until late in the evening, catching the celebrations.

How Much Does Wedding Photography Cost ?
It doesn’t have to be the full day. I also provide wedding photography packages for half day and even for a few hours if that’s what you need. My packages start from £350, but if none of the packages meet your requirements, get in touch and I’ll make a new one, just for you, because I’m nice like that.
