Home Made Garden Wedding Celebration | Natalia & Louis

I woke up this morning & the autumn sun was shining, the leaves were starting to look a bit brown around the edges and there was a bit of a nip in air when I raced down the path in my PJ's to put the bin out. A perfect day to post a wedding.

Weddings are an incredibly personal thing. Once upon a time, there was a formula for a wedding day and sometimes, photographing them, you got to see quite a lot of very similar days.

Over the last 10 years or so, that’s changed significantly. People want a day that’s more in line with who they are. A wedding day that reflects their personality. As a documentary wedding photographer, that’s perfect for me.

Natalia & Louis were already married by the time I photographed this beautiful afternoon in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire. They wanted an afternoon garden party with their friends & family, the important people, to celebrate their wedding. Some food, some (quite a bit) of drink and lots of relaxing and celebrating. They didn’t want any posed photos. They just wanted me there for an afternoon, in the background, to capture the relaxed atmosphere naturally. It was important to make sure that the photographs didn’t take over. That’s not what it was about. People & connection were difinitely the prominent words in the brief!.

I loved photographing this celebration. Everything about it. I loved how natural and relaxed it was, from the garden to the interactions of all the guests together. This was the epitome of a relaxed afternoon.

Wedding Packages for all Budgets

Natalia & Louis wanted me at their celebration for the afternoon. They specifically mentioned that they weren’t bothered about posed photographs - they just wanted the afternoon captured naturally, as it happened.

Whatever your wedding plan is, however you’re wanting your day to be, I’ll put together a package to suit your budget. You can see a guide to pricing on my packages & Pricing page. I like to be up front and not hide how much it costs. If you’d like to know more, feel free to have a look around the website and feel free to get in touch for a chat.
