Hornington Manor Wedding | Becky & Josh
Becky and Josh decided to tie the knot at the lovely Hornington Manor. It’s one of my favourite wedding venues, not least because along with Hazlewood Castle, it’s one of the nearest venues to home for me, so it’s an easy one to travel to. If I stood on the roof, I’d be able to see my house from it!
For those of you not familiar with Hornington Manor, it’s a beautiful Yorkshire farm wedding venue, surrounded by fields of sheep as far as the eye can see. This venue has it all. There’s a barn for indoor ceremonies (although Becky & Josh chose to have their ceremony at the Calvary Chapel in York), you can have an outdoor ceremony if you like, there’s rooms for guests to stay in, but most of all, the people there are really nice. Nothing is too much trouble.
So, Becky got ready at Hornington in the morning, starting off in the Bridal Suite before heading downstairs for group makeup with the bridesmaids. Once they were all ready, we headed off to the Calvary Chapel in York to meet Josh and the rest of the guests for the ceremony. Then it was back to Hornington Manor again for the rest of the day’s festivities, the wedding breakfast and then my favourite part, a Ceilidh. Ceilidh’s are a photographers dream, they’re absolute chaos but loads of fun.
